This site has information on different area’s in Kakadu. The Jabiru Area looks like the main residential area, but I think the Nourlangie Area looks like a nice place to build a house with its “stunning rock art galleries”, or even the Mary River Area and we could utilise the river water in our design…if we’re allowed.
It also has information regarding the six seasons of this area. The weather throughout the year seems to change dramatically, from blue skies to torrential rain and flooding. I think we will have to find a way to cater for all these conditions in our design.
