Over the last week, our group has been trying in incorporate feedback given from client/design discussions into our Domus. We have been working on finalising our plan by focusing on the use of private and public space for the permanent residents and the 4 guests. We decided that giving each permanent resident a private space away from the communal living areas is a must.
We have also been looking at the bamboo screening/facade and how that will be attached to the exterior skin of the dwelling. We also looked at the ability to incorporate larger opening with the aid of shading to allow guests maximum views into the surrounding environment.
The roof of the entire dwelling will be broken up into individual sections which we are currently working on.
