Battersea 7 Domus model photos

The following images are of the moel that was built to depict our DOMUS design.
Basically it can be seen that the contours wre made of 3mm MDF and propped up with 1cm of cardboard to emulate the 500mm drop between the contour lines.
The 'wings' of our structure that would be housing/protecting the bedrooms for the permament residents and the other wing having the bedroom for the guests, was made out of once gain 3mm MDF.The fine cuts were done using the laser cutter (yes, we are all broke now) to show the 80mm battens with a 40mm gap between.
The main core was clad in just plain old grey card to show the difference in material as it is selected to be made out of colorbond or similar in real life.
...i think in the end we could have put more detail into the model but time and money are constraints that always seem to be constant in uni.
